More ‘How To Do Everything’ coming soon!

We had so much fun working on the ‘How To Do Everything’ shoot this weekend in Mount Usher Gardens. We are all very exited about it and can’t wait for you all to see what wonderful winter activities Clíona and the kids got up to! Broadcast dates will be coming very soon so keep an eye on our blog for updates!

Here’s some behind the scenes photos from the shoot.

Artwork Callout for Children’s TV Programme!

We’ve just gone into production on a SECOND series of our programme ‘HOW TO DO EVERYTHING’ and are looking for YOU to help us out again. We loved all your artwork the first time round so here’s your second chance to get your drawings into the new series!

This time your theme is…WINTER. We need drawings of snowflakes, snowmen, pinecones, robin red breasts, scarves, hats, mittens, foxes, hibernating hedgehogs – anything you think of when it comes to wintertime. So draw us a picture and send it to macallateo@gmail.com.

So you want to take part? Great! Follow these steps:
1. Draw your image (choosing from our list above or anything else you can imagine!) on a white page with nothing else around it. For example, if you are drawing a robin, draw it on a page but do not to include the grass or sky etc. This is so our editor can cut it out.

2. Take a high resolution image or scan of your drawing. This would involve taking a photo from directly above the drawing. If it’s blurry, we won’t be able to use it so make sure it’s a nice clear scan or photo.

3. Email it to us at macallateo@gmail.com with your name, age, where you’re from and parents’ contact details. We will respond with a permission form to be signed by parents/guardians to allow us to use the image.

4. We will be in touch to let you know if or how we’ll include it in our programme. We’ll be on air soon so it’s just around the corner. 🙂

Deadline: The sooner you can send your drawings the better but we need to have them all by Sunday the 4th of December!

Thanks for interest and please feel free to like and share this info with anyone else you think would be interested. 🙂 We can’t wait to see your work! 😀

Macalla Website Launched July 2016

Macalla New Website Launched July 2016

If you had checked in over the month of June you would have noticed that our website was down, we hope you didn’t miss us too much? Well as you can see we are now very much back up again, with a new and improved website.

Our old site had served us well over the last couple of years but had become a bit dated, and most importantly, it was not mobile responsive. Never ones to lag behind technology we have made the necessary changes to bring our site up to speed and make it mobile friendly, so now you can check in on us while on the move.

There are plenty more improvements too, with the whole look and structure changing to better reflect the services that we offer and previous work we have completed. Please take the time the navigate around the site to see what we have been up to, and of course please do share our work with your friends through Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and all of the other great social networks out there.

We would also love your feedback on the site and our work, so get in touch with us and share your thoughts.

Special thanks to Keith over at www.create108.com for all his hard work in producing the site for us.
